
This part of our program aims at encouraging girls to learn about their communities, the challenges experienced by sections of the community and how they can help and support their communities

Girls learn about the Guiding philosophy, structure of the movement, ceremonies, traditions and the history of Guiding. They also learn about Guiding across the world

Girls learn to develop their leadership potential. Skills such as planning and leading teams are practiced whilst playing games, guiding small groups through tasks during regular meetings, camps and outings.

Skills to use when in the great outdoors are the focus of this part of our program. Girls learn skills for outdoor and water activities. Knots, fires, outdoor cooking, map work and camping,canoeing and rafting are part of the fun.

Safety is important for girls to understand and put into practice. Girls learn about how to identify hazards in and away from home and to be prepared to deal with situations where people are hurt

Taking care of ones health and well being is important and this aspect of the program focuses on health and spirituality. Girls are taught to value themselves and to treat others with respect

This aspect of our program introduces girls to computers and other technology. They also learn different arts and crafts that they may not have been exposed to before

Our world is a special place and we need to ensure we treat it well. We teach girls all about our environment and how to take care of the earth and living things
