Teddies

Girls aged 4 1/2 to 7 years begin their Guiding journey as Teddies. We build a Guiding foundation through a concept of caring and sharing during this phase

Our Venues

We have beautiful venues available within our province. These can be hired for events as well as Brownie pack holidays, Guide, Ranger and Scout camps. Facilites and fees vary by venue.

The Boksburg Guide Hall is located within the suburb of Parkdene. This Hall has lovely grounds and is available for Guiding activities, camps and pack holidays.

Support Groups

A good support group keeps our units and our region running smoothly. We are in need of support from parents and the local community to us with fund raising, transport, events and other activiites

Badge Testers

Do you have a special talent? Guiding offers many badges that girls can earn and we need parents, teachers, professionals and other community members to test them in order to award a badge

Adult Leaders

Adult leaders are all volunteers that lead groups of Teddies, Brownies, Guides or Rangers. Adults are always needed to lead or assist with units within the region. Join us now for a rewarding  personal growth experience

Donations

Girl Guides is a non profit organisation and we need constant source of funds to keep running. These funds help us to maintain the premises and equipment we use in our day today activities. All donations are welcome
